Pierre Coffy

Pierre Coffy (1991) is student in history of the modern and contemporary architecture. He graduated from Master's degree in art history from the Université Paris-Sorbonne in 2013, by working on the Parisian town planning between the XVIIIth and the XIXth century and more particularly the district of the île de la Cité. He also has a Master's degree in History from the University Paris - Sorbonne in 2016, in the course of which he studied the Ghetto of Rome and his evolution from the XVIIIth century until the emancipation of the Jewish community during French period. Today, he specialises in the artistic exchanges and the cultural transfers between France and Italy by realising his doctorate to the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he is interested in the transformations of the Milanese public place of the end of the Ancien Régime to the Restauration. 

Pierre Coffy (1991) studia la storia dell’architettura moderna e contemporanea.  Si è laureato in storia dell’arte presso l’Université Paris-Sorbonne nel 2013, lavorando sull’urbanistica parigina tra il settecento e l’ottocento, più particolarmente sul quartiere dell’île de la Cité. Si è anche laureato in storia presso l’Université Paris-Sorbonne nel 2016, studiando il Ghetto di Roma e sua evoluzione dal settecento all’emancipazione della comunità ebraica durante il periodo francese. Si specializza ora verso gli scambi culturali ed artistici intercorsi tra Italia e Francia, realizzando suo dottorato presso l’Università Panthéon-Sorbonne, in cui si interessa alle trasformazioni dello spazio pubblico milanese dalla fine dell’Ancien Régime alla Restaurazione.
